In reply to T.W. Anderson @ Marginal Boundaries. I still love Celtic and Gaelic stuff too. It's the kind of place filled with fairy tales, legends and battles. Don't know about you, but I'm a big Lord of the Rings fan as well, and after spending three months in Ireland I'm pretty sure that those books are almost entirely based on the Irish culture, language and history. And don't get me started on Irish and Scottish music! I've been listening to harps, bag pipes, violins and mandolines since I was a little kid, as my dad used to play in a folk band. Absolutely love it.

Mmmm, Bushmills. One of many great brands out of the old country 🙂

Making me seriously want to hit up Ireland now…I had a fascination when I was younger with all things Gaelic, including the Irish and Scottish histories and Celtic myths…seeing those castles brings back a lot of my earlier research.

Great stuff 🙂
