Beautiful Croatia – A Photo Essay

Visiting the Adriatic Sea coast was one of the things on my travel wish list, so, naturally, I was thrilled having been able to check that off the list last summer.

I’d heard good things about Croatia from basically everyone I knew who’d visited the country before. Now, having visited it myself, I can honestly say that Croatia is indeed a brilliant destination. It’s strongly recommended—I would go as far as to say that I suggest visiting Croatia before going to the more mainstream countries in Europe, such as France or England.

Croatia is one of Europe’s unpolished gems, a spectacular yet fairly undiscovered destination in the Mediterranean.

Because I’ve written a number of blog posts about Croatia before, I don’t want to waste time and space here by repeating things you can read elsewhere on the blog. Here’s an overview:

What follows below is an extensive selection of my personal favorite Croatia photos, taken during our three-week visit last summer.

Enjoy!
