You are correct, Jennifer. This article contains all kinds of National Park Service (NPS) sites, as I said in the intro. Those are, however, considered &quot;national parks&quot; just because they&#039;re managed by the NPS, even though they don&#039;t have those exact words in their name. The NPS on their website says that their sites are often referred to simply as &quot;parks.&quot; It&#039;s just a matter of how broadly you apply the definition.
