This trail looks absolutely fantastic. My boyfriend and I are travel photographers and are starting our journey to all 58 National Parks. Acadia will be the first one! We are so excited. Michael is afraid of heights, hopefully I can persuade him to try this hike! Thank you for the post. It was great to read.

Great photos of your Precipice climb! There’s another way to access the Precipice that takes you along an historic trail, the Orange & Black Path, as we blogged about here: http://acadiaonmymind.com/2014/06/orange-and-black-path-acadia-national-park/

And during peregrine falcon nesting season, or if any hikers in your party are afraid of heights, another way to get the great views is going up the Champlain North Ridge Trail.
