Irish Coast – A Photo Essay

Let me tell you something.

When visiting Ireland it’s extremely important to leave the cities. While they are nice for first impressions, some history and nightlife, the countryside is where you really want to be. It is where you should be too.

Rent a car, a bike or strap on your walking boots and get out on those winding, narrow roads or hiking trails. No matter where you go, eventually you will always end up on a beach or on top of a cliff. It’s an island after all.

The Irish coast has one of the most stunning coastlines in the world. It’s wild, rugged and windy; there’s fantastic seafood and some pretty great beaches.

In this last photo essay in a series about Ireland I wanted to take you guys on a coastal tour.

These photos are amazing! I especially loved the view of the Cliffs of Moher-- what a beautiful area! I agree that the Irish countryside is where you really want to be.

Oh gosh, it's hard to pick a favorite! I especially love all the sunshine shots but I think the one with the sheep is my favorite. Sheep in a photo seems like quintessential Ireland to me. All beautiful shots though, as usual!

I can never pick my favorite ones either. It's hard enough to select pictures to use in a post as it is. :-) And thank you for the compliments! I appreciate it a lot, Jen.
