In reply to ama. In that case, I highly recommend focusing on the Paradise area. Just drive up to the lodge, stop by the visitor center and pick up a trail map. There's a large network of fairly easy trails just beyond the buildings there, all leading through wildflower-covered meadows. The iconic view of Myrtle Falls is only a short hike from that busy tourist area, too!

Hi, we are planning a girls’ trip to seattle, and wanted to do a day trip with a good hike. (not too intense, as one person is recovering from foot surgery, and isn’t in the best shape).

I heard of the wonderland trail with waterfalls. We would like to see mt. Rainier with all the beautiful flowers, etc, but we didn’t know where to set our gps to in order to do a trail hike that would be in the area with waterfalls. Can you please recommend? we only have time for this one hike, and want it to be the best we can choose. thank you for your feedback
