Beautiful. We’ll be going to Istria for about a month in April and I think you’ve got me sold on Rovinj as a base.

Istria is amazing and have read many blogs including those of Italian heritage that have said it is more beautiful than Tuscanny.

You have definitely got a taste but there is so much more you have seriously only scratched the surface.

The towns of Porec & Pula, perhaps the best hilltop town of Groznjan and other beauties like Labin, Bale, Vodnjan, Rabac . You also have the beauty of Opatilja and Lovran.

And lets not forget the coastal town of Slovenia like Piran and Koper are also part of Istrian Peninsula,

In reply to Julius from Traveltipy. Istria is such a beautiful part of Croatia, it should be on anyone's list. That street you're talking about is up the hill on the way to the church. It's easy to find; it's not a big town. :-)

Hi Bram, I still have Istria on my travel dreams only, but I hope to get there soon! I just have to go to Rovinj and find that picturesque street you take a picture on (the one with steps). Really nice!
