Hiking the Precipice Trail in Acadia National Park, Maine

The shortest trail up Champlain Mountain in Acadia National Park, the Precipice Trail also happened to be the steepest trail in the entire national park. It is a part of the mountain’s east and is less than a mile (1.6 kilometers) long. It’s so steep it’s classified as a non-technical climb!
