Featured Outdoor Diversity Organization: Wild Diversity

This month, we’re shining a light on the important work of Wild Diversity, the next organization in our monthly series of outdoor diversity organizations.

Through this series, we aim to showcase nonprofits, associations and organizations that work towards social justice, environmental action and more inclusive public lands.

About Wild Diversity

Wild Diversity is a nonprofit organization that aims to help create a personal connection to the outdoors for Black, Indigenous, all People of Color (BIPOC) and the LGBTQ2S+ communities, through outdoor adventures and education.

Wild Diversity’s goal is to welcome and create a sense of belonging in the outdoors for the BIPOC and LGBTQ+ communities.

Through outdoor adventures and guiding they work to build community, through workshops and their gear library they provide resources, all to better equip the next generation by creating equitable access and education to the outdoors for youth of color, and queer, trans and low-income youth.

Their programing is wide reaching, including leadership training, youth ecology programing, group adventures, and BIPOC conservation programs, helping to create the next generation of conservationists.
